Often times members face the uncomfortable situation of having to defend their contribution to healthcare in the workplace.  This defense is often required because healthcare administrators and/or managers are unfamiliar with the profession and its development.  Sometimes, these cardiovascular professionals face difficult situations because of interpretations of state regulations effecting healthcare.
