As a member of the Cath Lab team, you will be performing a wide range of procedures, including coated stents, brachytherapy, IVUS, and research protocols such as angiogenesis and pediatric interventions.

Qualified candidates must have an Associates Degree from an accredited Radiography Technologist program and IL Licensure/eligibility. New grads with a student clinical rotation in the cath lab or special procedures will be considered. Preferred candidates would have special procedures or cath lab background and ACLS certification. RCIS or RTCV credentialing a plus.

Director of Cardiovascular Diagnostics with one of our client hospitals located in north central Illinois. The salary is expected to be in the $90,000 range, depending on background and experience.

The Hospital is a 400-bed, full-service, non-profit facility serving northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin. The medical center is a teaching hospital with an affiliation to the University of Illinois College of Medicine and has earned a reputation for its commitment to quality healthcare including clinical excellence outcome measurements and placing the needs and concerns of their patients first. The hospital's cardiac program was rated as one of the best in the nation for five consecutive years.

The Director of Cardiovascular Diagnostics reports to the Administrative Director of Cardiovascular Services Line and will supervise 29 FTEs. The department consists of three cath labs and one special procedures suite
performing approximately 3,000 procedures annually. Qualified candidates will be either a registered nurse or a radiologic technologist with excellent clinical knowledge, strong leadership skills, the ability to teach and desire to learn, and prior management experience.

Again, compensation is expected to be in the $90,000 range, with a full benefits package. Interview and relocation expenses will be paid by the hospital.
