Connecting over 3000 professionals involved in all levels of cardiovascular service (administration, management, nursing and technology) and involved in all specialties (invasive, noninvasive, echo, cardiopulmonary). A message from ACVP President Linda Paxton will be published shortly.
To meet the needs of all cardiovascular and pulmonary providers.
To promulgate standards.
To promote recognition of the cardiovascular profession.
The ACVP Board meets via teleconference the fourth Thursday of every month. The board meets face-to-face two times per year—once at the Management Conference in March and once in the fall. All Members are invited to submit any issues or concerns they wish the board to address at a board meeting.
All activities to reach the goals are supported by task forces and through committee and council activities. While goals are adjusted as time marches on, the overarching thrust of the plan, as identified through the mission, is followed by all leadership and staff consistently.
The ACVP supports all efforts at strengthening the quality of healthcare. This includes appearances at hearings regarding the work performed by our members. Learn more.
