ICYMI: TAVR Out-Performs Surgical Replacement

This video from Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiology's Pulse TV shares the biggest piece of news from the American College of Cardiology's annual conference last month---that Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) out-performed surgical valve replacement in the PARTNER II trial.

Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement continues to be a hot topic for presentation at Alliance of Cardiovascular Professionals regional Cardio Conferences.

Already the preferred choice for patients who are too sick or high-risk for open heart procedures, the TAVR procedure is growing in popularity throughout the cardiovascular community. Information on the procedure is becoming one of the most requested topics at ACVP events.

In response, presentations on the procedure have been given at ACVP regional Cardio Conferences in Fall River, MA; Atlantic City, NJ; Kansas City, MO; Cleveland, OH; and Falls Chruch, VA; and presentations on TAVR will be given at upcoming conferences in Sioux Falls, SD; Richmond, VA and Silver Spring, MD.

If you are interested in hosting an educational conference or bringing education on TAVR to your area, please open the conversation online or contact ACVP at 804.639.9213.
